Write the Story: A Writing Experiment (1)

So, I discovered this image somewhere out there on the internet and it started me thinking… “What happened here?” I think  this would make a cute short story. So, I’m ‘practicing’ honing my writing skills using this image to create a short story for my readers to follow. I’d like to hear from others… What do YOU think happened?
